Sage Francis Hooks Up With Artist Inkymole

Transcending visual and sonic artistic boundaries, Sage Francis and London-based visual artist Inkymole have built a mutually inspiring relationship of late. Francis is the muse of Inkymole's If A Girl Writes Off The World exhibit, which will come to New York in the beginning of May, and Inkymole has provided artwork for Sage Francis's LP, Human The Death Dance, due out May 8 on Anti-.

Having completed a residency in London that began last October, Inkymole's exhibit was met with substantial acclaim. In a press release about her involvement with Human The Death Dance, which?a month from its releasemdash;has already pre-sold 3,000 copies on Francis's website, she says, "I couldn't wait, but I was suddenly terrified of this new client I was also a mad fan of."

If A Girl Writes Off The World will inhabit New York City's Old Portico Space at the Chelsea Market from May 1-7, wrapping up just in time for the May 8 release of Human The Dead Dance.
